The Association
ACIMIT (the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers) is a private non-profit making body and its main purpose consists in promoting the Italian textile machinery sector and in supporting its activity, mainly abroad, through the most updated and innovative promotional means, constantly improved over the almost 80 years of its life.
Special project
Digital Ready
DIGITAL READY certification is geared towards attesting to the correct implementation of the conceptual data model that ACIMIT has developed in partnership with the Manufacturing Group at the Politecnico of Milano. RINA, an international certification body and a long-standing ACIMIT partner, issues the certification to associated member companies.
The certification is designed to simplify the production process, by adopting a standard language and unique data reading system that allows different types of machinery to communicate with their related production systems.
Green Label
Italian textile machinery manufacturers play a fundamental role in promoting new and innovative green technology trends.
Within this context, ACIMIT has realized the “Sustainable Technologies” project at the centre of which is the ACIMIT green label, the energy/environmental labelling tool for textile machinery certified by an accredited international certification body, RINA.
