OBEM

OBEM SpA was established in 1946 at Biella, important textile district located in Northern Italy. Biella has high concentration of textile factories producing top quality yarns, fabrics and garments and here we grew up producing textile machinery mainly for dyeing fibre and yarns, or for steam treatments. The achievement of high quality results with our machines has always been a priority in our projects. In the last 30 years we have concentrated our efforts in equipping our machines with an high degree of Reliability, Automation and in many cases also of Full Robotization.
In 1986 we installed in USA our first fully robotized package dyeing plant and, from that time, we dedicated a lot of time in developing the robotization for any type of machines we produce. After more than 30 years of experience in this field, OBEM has installed 60 robotized plants in every important textile areas of the world. These plants, that work with a limited number of operators like 1 or 2 per shift, are developed for processing Wool, Cotton, Acrylic, Polyester, Viscose, and blends. We produce our machines, their robotizing equipment and their software in our Biella factory so that our customers are serviced by our company, also in remote assistance, for any issue related to the dyeing machinery or their automation robots.
