At the assembly of the Association of Textile Machinery Industry Manufacturers held on 25 May, ACIMIT President Sandro Salmoiraghi awarded prizes to 6 students from Italian universities and textile technical institutes, winners of the annual ACIMIT Foundation Awards on research conducted on themes related to the textile machinery industry.
“The prizes, consisting of an amount of 800 Euros,” stated Salmoiraghi, ”are a sure indication of the attention the Association reserves to the training of students. In fact, for ACIMIT the training of young people, to whom we wish to transmit the knowledge of our textile machinery manufacturers, is a key element providing continuity to the success of Italy’s textile machinery sector throughout the world.”
The awards ceremony was also attended by the professors who assisted the students in their research work. The competition is part of a framework of increasingly significant activities conducted by ACIMIT Foundation with textile sector training schools in Italy.
